You will be asked to submit 3 series of exercises during the semester
Set 1: Exercises 119, 139, 173, 212, 214, 219, 322, 367	Deadline: Oct 5
Set 2: Exercises 331, 340, 343, 362, 401, 413, 419, 471	Deadline: Nov 9
Set 3: Exercises 464, 466, 469	Deadline: Dec 7

The submission consists of a written part and an oral part . The idea is: you solve the exercises and write the solution down neatly. Then you come to my office (Rom 3061) and explain to me briefly how you were thinking. If I feel that you haven't digested the material completely, then I'll tell you so and ask you to re-submit. Otherwise, you're off the hook.

The point of the exercises is to motivate and encourage you to solve some of the problems and even read the textbook! If you visit the 'Regneverksted' regularly, or are otherwise familiar with the material, you won't have to spend much time on those exercises.
