Statistics for biologists with practical classes using S-plus

A seminar in biostatistics will be arranged at UIB in the period

Tuesday 23 April 2002 to Friday 3 may 2002.

Lectures will be given in Auditorium 5, Department of Geology

The seminar aims to give biologists an overview over current methodology, including ANOVA, Regression, and Ordination. The seminar will be taught by biologists, and applications of different statistical procedures in biological contexts will be demonstrated. The statistical programs S-plus and CANOCO will be introduced during practical sessions.
