About
The Exploding Methodology Symposium was an event that took place on September 20th, 2007. It was held at Goldsmiths University in London, UK. The event enabled researchers and scholars to submit papers dealing with a variety of methodological issues, mostly in the field of sociology. The papers were then presented to small groups by another indivvidual who had read the paper.
Topics
Many topics were discussed such as alternative sources of data, working with alternative methods in structures that discourage the use of such methods, challenges facing researchers, responsibilities to informants, and much more. In order to enable further discussion of issues raised at the conference, a forum has been started on this site: Exploding Methodology Forum.
Papers
The participants were divided into "streams" with six participants in each group. The papers presented are attached.

Papers
The papers from the Exploding conference were originally only available for conference participants so I am taking down the links to the papers. It would be great if the individual authors chose to post their work. If you would like to attach your paper so other people can read it, please do so by clicking on the Exploding page, then click edit. Scroll down and where it says attach file, browse your computer for the file and click attach. Finally click submit. If you have any problems, send a message by clicking contact on the left side menu.
