About Visma
Visma Software is a fast growing European vendor of software and services for electronic business management. Visma has Norwegian roots and the main activity is still in Norway, but we are expanding fast in other European countries as well and sell our products in an increasing number of countries in Europe.
Visma Software develops software solutions that support the business processes of our customers. Visma software has a strong base in ERP products along with a large suite of complementary business process supporting products. This suite includes wide range of solutions, from CRM products and a number of web and mobile solutions to online Purchase process automation solutions. We have solutions for a whole range of clients, from very small businesses to large enterprises. Our aim is to build the best possible solutions which add value for our customers, and simplify their business by integrating and automating their business processes.
Visma Software R&D employs more than 270 developers. Our goal is to continuously improve our software development processes in order to achieve high quality and technical excellence. R&D is a virtual organization inside Visma with developers in 6 European countries working together. This makes Visma Software R&D a challenging, demanding and exciting workplace.
A large number of Visma products are based on the Microsoft platform and technologies such as .NET, ASP.NET and SQL Server. We are also working with frameworks and tools on Java/J2EE and other platforms. We are continuously improving our modern agile development methodologies throughout our organization.
Career Opportunities
Visma is expanding with interesting opportunities for both young and more experienced system developers and architects. If you have just finished your education, you will get a comprehensive training in good and modern development methodology for professional software development. You will become part of project teams with more experienced developers and architects.
