Faculty of Computer Science and Media Technology

The activity at the Faculty of Computer Science and Media Technology (IMT) is concentrated around modern computer, communication and media technology – areas that undergo a rapid development, where computer technology meets radio, television, printed and Internet based media to form an integrated, digital information industry. IMT has established itself as a strong party in education and research within these areas.

IMT has undergraduate programmes in information technology, computer science, information security, digital media technology, media design and media management, and graduate programmes in media technology and information security.

IMT has over the last years increased the research effort considerably, and the department now has a strong research community working to establish PhD programmes. As a student you will benefit from being a part of this strong community when doing your own research for modules and your thesis.
