The UN and World Politics
This project aims to provide a detailed analysis of the current constellations of UN member states and the deeper interests and motivations that lie behind them.
The UN and World Politics
The project investigates the different positions taken by various constellations of UN member states on contemporary contentious issues such as UN reform, the war on terror, poverty, human rights and the nuclear question. It asks how the different positions may be understood, and what deeper interests and motivations they reflect. Finally, it discusses whether there is any common ground upon which the future work of the UN may be based.
