Things to do

The following are the important tasks which every international student has to perform in the first week.

(1)Signing of Residence Contract
You have to Sign the contract of your residence. Please be sure that things in room for example phone, lights etc ae working properly. You are also supposed to deposit a certain amount as advance.

(2) Residence Permit to be otained from Police
Every student has to get a residence permit from police station. You are required to take your passport and 2 photographs with you.

(3) Nowegian Personal Number
you are required to get your personal number. This can be done with the egistration office situated on the 1st flor of cinema building in down town. This personal number is very important especially for those who are going to spend 2 years in Norway. If you need a back account in Norway you must have this Personal number.

(4) Quota Students
If you are quota student , you have to apply fo quota but this can be only be possible once you have your personal number.

(5) Registration at School

During all these processes your mentors will be helping you. But if you in case find any difficult, ESN board members can be contacted.

(6) Health Control (not for students coming from Europe)
