Fields of interest:

Most of my research efforts are going into the Rolls-Royce University Technology Centre (UTC) "Performance in a Seaway", which was opened 9th of May this year, and for which I am the director.

I am participating in the Joint Industry Project Propeller Forum, which is sponsored by Forskningsrådet and Innovasjon Norge. This project is about development of software for propeller design and analysis, and about increasing the competence of the fairly large number of propeller manufacturers in Norway. The participation by NTNU is mainly education and recruitment of people to work in the propeller industry in Norway.

I am also participating in the EU Network of Excellence project Hydrotesting Alliance. The topic of my participation in this project is technologies related to model testing of pods and azimuthing thrusters.

If you are looking for a topic (and a supervisor) for a project and/or Msc thesis, you should see this list of proposed topics (Word file, in Norwegian)
