I hold a position as senior curator
of marine invertebrates. Our marine collections are in the final stages of
being registered in the museum database.
Research Interests Polychaetes My research is dealing with the
systematics and phylogeny of the polychaete families Nereididae and
Sphaerodoridae.
Nudibranchia Another great interest is
nudibranchs that I study in collaboration with
Jussi Evertsen. We are currently
studying occurrence and biodiversity of nudibranchs in coastal areas in Central
Norway. A paper with results from more than seven years field work have just
been published. Read more abouth this in our
nudibranch pages.
Rajid
phylogeny I collaborate with Dag Altin and Anita Kaltenborn in a
project of occurence of Raja montagui in Norway. This has later been
developed into collaboration with Paola Passolini and her group at the
Univeristy of Bologna, Italy who are doing a phylogeny of skates in the North
Atlantic. So far our part in this project is studying morphological variation
of rajids in Central Norway and obtain material for Paola. |
