COMBINE = Combined Observational and Modeling-Based studies of the aerosol INdirect Effect

COMBINE is a research project, funded by the Norwegian Research Council through the NORKLIMA programme.

Objective: To evolve the description and understanding of the aerosol indirect effect through a combination of model simulations and analyses of satellite retrievals.

Tools: NCAR CAM2, MODIS.

Project duration: 2003 - 2006.

Project Leader: Jón Egill Kristjánsson.

Other scientists: Trude Storelvmo, Gunnar Myhre, Frode Stordal, Mona Johnsrud.
