 Picture of me
A small epsilon, in fact me,
pondering how to cope with
some pretty complex functions,
such as walking.
After 19 years of random walk through fields of music, poetry and painting, I arrived at the University of Oslo where I finally settled down in the mathematics department. Here I completed my PhD thesis on fractals in March 2005 under the supervision of Professor Tom Lindstrøm. If you want to know more about my work, a brief and popularized abstract (in Norwegian) is available here: "Summary". A full version of my thesis (in English) is also available: "Injective Mapping Systems and Self-homeomorphic Fractals". Image of a Julia set
