Andenes
Andenes  is a village at the northern tip of the island Andøya at the coast of northern Norway 130 km southwest of Tromsø. The magnetometre is located at Andøya  Rocket Range a few km south of the village. It constitutes a part of the instrumentation of the Rocket Range and has been operated jointly with them since 1995.

Instrumentation:
  • Magnetometer: FG90B  (our design)
  • Sensor: Triaxial fluxgate FS98  (our design)
  • Logger is a  PC running Linux,  Redhat  OS.
  • GPS time adjustment.
  • Near realtime data are transferred several times an hour.
  • Remote control and data retrieval by internet connection.
