Rørvik
Rørvik  is a small town roughly midway along the coast of Norway. The magnetometer is located in the municipality  of Vikna at the island  Ytre Vikna 13 km northwest of the town.
The station was established September 1998.

Instrumentation:
  • Magnetometer: FG85B/94B (our design)
  • Sensor: Triaxial fluxgate FS98  (our design)
  • Logger is a PC running Linux Redhat Enterprise OS.
  • GPS time adjustment.
  • Near realtime data are transferred every 4 minute.
  • Remote control and data retrieval by GPRS connection.
