Introduction
This is the home page of the Sámi language technology project.
The Sámi department at the University of Tromsø has since 2001 been running a project on Sámi language technology. The primary goal is to build a morphological parser and disambiguator for Northern Sámi. Here you can read more about both the other goals of the project, and about the basic technology and the linguistic philosophy that is being used in the project.
