Internationalisation
Internationalisation is a focal point for Bodø University College. Through gaining knowledge about international education and research, we believe to rise competence within Bodø University College and gain inspiration and motivation to further develop our own study programmes. Thus, we take actively part in several projects on international cooperation in order to increase student and staff mobility.
Bodø University College has approximately 90 partners around the world, including countries such as Russia, Australia, USA, Spain, Cuba, Italy, Great Britain, Canada, France, Sri Lanka, China and the Nordic countries, just to name a few. In addition, we are an active member of the university networks University of the Arctic and Barents Education Network. Recent events at Bodø University College show the strong international focus of the institution. The University Conference and International Week both showed the importance of international work at Bodø University College.

| Successful Bodø International Summer University 2005 |
During 4 weeks in June and July, students from 17 different countries attended Bodø International Summer University (BISU), the summer term at Bodø University College. Students as well as lecturers was satisfied with the outcome of this years course, and with an increase in student numbers compared to the last couple of years, BISU 2005 was a success.
