Ivan Harsløf has a Master degree in social science from Aalborg University, 1998. He worked as research assistant at the Danish National Institute of Social Research (SFI) in the period 1999 – 2002. He was a Doctoral student at Norwegian Social Research (NOVA) in the period 2002-2006. In the spring of 2006 he was a Marie Curie RTN Fellow at the University of Milano-Biccoca. At present he is an associate professor and managing director of Research Group for Inclusive Welfare Policy, Oslo University College (GIV)
Main areas of research and fields of intrests:
Labour market, intergration, active social and labour market policies (activation, vocational rehabilitation), youth unemployment, welfare research in comparative perspective
