This is a development project aiming to be useful to the children and the adults at one particular barnehage. Jeanette has been working as a kind of grandmotherly assistant one full day a week, since April 2005. Each week after leaving the barnehage she write a few pages, types this up and gives it to the women the next week. The project is now developing in that the women need funding to employ vicar so they are free to write themselves. Also in this next phase of the project Jeanette has been invited to work as a kind of pedagogical consultant and co-ordinator of writing in many languages. We aim to together publish a book. An application for funding has been sent to Mette T and to Ann Merete through ARENA. 90of the staff and children are Muslim. Languages spoken are Norwegian, Arabic, Urdu, Somali, Spanish, Turkish, Farsi, French, Kurdish, English.
Prosjektmedarbeidere:
all the children and all the women who work and play at Gamlebyen barnehagen. There are no men.
Dokumentasjon:
Jeanette has to date approximately 70ages of typed notes that the women above have been reading page by page each week after Jeanette’s visit the previous week. These are very short descriptions of episodes from practice and narratives from the women.
