of Science and Technology in 1994.
My thesis work involved development of a computer code incorporating the
exergy concept and simulation of solid-oxide fuel cell systems.
From 1993 till 1995 I worked as a process engineer at Energi og Prosesskontroll AS. I was in-charge of
developing a micro-wave pilot oven for drying the popular Norwegian brown cheese. I was also involved in designing and
commissioning evaporators for the dairy industry.
I held a position as head of Department of mechanical engineering at Kathmandu University, Nepal, from 1995 till 1999.
I was involved in developing curriculum for the bachelor program in mechanical engineering, teaching academic courses
(statics and dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer), and setting up thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
lab, and finally, managing the department.
In September 1999 I joined Molde University College as associate professor at Department of transport studies.
