IRIS - Guide

Finding reports
There are several ways to find student reports in IRIS, depending on your needs. By selecting "Reports" from the top navigation bar, you can choose to either browse or search for reports.

Searching for reports is the most effective option when you want to find reports related to a specific combination of home or target country and study area. You can also enter search keywords to further specify what you are looking for.

Browsing allows you to find reports based on country and city, or country and specific institution.

Reading reports
There are several ways to read a report:

Summary
When you first open a report, you will see a summary of the exchange - home and host institution, field of study, general satisfaction ratings, and more.

By section
This option will let you view questions within one of the five various sections of the report - academic issues, financial issues, etc.

Prose questions only
This option is available if a report has been reviewed by the Erasmus coordinator at the sending institution. These are questions with unlimited answer possibilities, and can often yield useful and detailed information that the regular fixed-answer questions are unable to capture.

Full report
This will display the report in its entirety (the page will be quite long), including answers to prose questions if the report has been reviewed.

Viewing institution information
By selecting "Institutions" from the top, you may search for specific institutions and view their details, including name, Erasmus code, address, and possibly contact information.

You may also view a list of reports for students visiting or travelling from the institutions, if such reports exist.
