Recruitment consultant, northern England
We are looking for a recruitment consultant for a well known recruitment company in northern England. Dependent on your level of experience, the role will encompass a range of recruitment activities from candidate sourcing and interviewing, through to business development and the ongoing management of client and candidate relationships and assignments.
You will be based in Newcastle upon Tyne, the capital of the north east, with approximately 1 million inhabitants. The city has an excellent night life and the locals are famous for their friendliness. A typical journey time to London by train is 3 hours and 1.5 hours to Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland.
The company is one of the leading recruitment companies in the north east with over 20 years in the business and over 100 employees. The offices are based in the middle of the city centre with excellent transportation nearby. You would be recruited to stay in Newcastle for approximately 6 months with a potential move to Copenhagen later in 2008.
Ideal candidates should be:
• Degree qualified (or equivalent) with relevant industry experience
• 1-2 years work experience preferably, either from a particular industry such as FMCG or sales etc
• A good networker and communicator
• Fluent in Norwegian (we are also separately looking for Danish, Swedish and Finnish speakers)
• Good English skills
