Jon - You must know about me from Nancy. She says you might willing to help with my home page problems. IUCN gives it low priority and I can move it. Nancy is helping by redesigning and setting up the pages. If you are able to host it I should be eternally grateful.

Something personal - as a student after the war, I fell in lover with Norway and your beautiful girls, although they were from Bergen and claimed they were not Norwegian (Jeg er ikke Norsk, je er Bergenser). I worded with Bergen students building the Voss-Vik road, but I have never been back to drive along it. Maybe one day...

Dear Jon
Thank you for allowing me to wander through your pages.
I am an avid supporter and lover of tigers, and have quite
a collection of photographs, and other tiger memorabilia.

I am a member of a Save the Tiger Foundation, here in Perth
Western Australia, and recently spent time in Jakarta on
holidays, where I visited the Taman Safari Park. Very well
looked after and a program to help stop extermination of
wild animals. The tiger exhibit was especially good and I was
able to hold a tiger cub, two lion cubs, and a full grown
female leopard. I have photos as proof.

While in Jakarta, my son-in-law who is Indonesian, was
approached to see if I would be interested in purchasing a
tiger on the black market. Of course I refused, but have
been upset greatly to think this kind of thing can happen.

I have been in contact with several people in regards to this
matter, and been told by all, that their is nothing that can
be done, as Indonesia will not play by the rules and ban this
sort of trade.

Now I have had my say, once again thank you for your
wonderful collection of photographs, and I will be returning
here many times in the future just to admire these wonderful
animals.

Regards
Sandy Caporn - Perth Western Australia

Hi Jon, I do have a homepage but it's still under construction. I'll get it done eventually, in fact that's how I ended up on your page, browsing for ideas. My HomePage URL is www.geocities.com/Nashville/1795 The E-Mail address there is will be southerntweety@geocities.com. So if You and/or yours want to drop a line or come visit, the invitation is their.. Well, I need to get out of here, been in here long enough, so you all take care and I'll catch you on the net. By the way I signed the petition and wrote a message to the authorities. I didn't know if it was in effect and the year hadn't been changed or not so I went ahead anyway. If need be you can disregard it all if it's not needed. Gotta go, it's3:50 a.m. here, need to make my eyes close for awhile. See ya, it's been a pleasure!!!
