Education
Currently there are about 1400 students, and about 350 PhD candidates enrolled at the faculty. The faculty offers the following degree programmes:

Medical students also have the possibilty to join research courses.
Research
The Faculty covers a broad spectrum of research fields in clinical medicine, biomedicine and health sciences, and has established research schools in five of our strongest fields of research. The level of competence in research is high, and research groups have been established in experimental cancer studies, neurosciences, cardiology and sirculation, epidemiology and vitamines, with focus on vitamine B and homocysteine. Highly competent research groups in molecular biology, translational biological and clinical research as well as global health issues, are organised by the faculty.
