Internasjonale studenter

Internasjonalisering i høyere utdanning er dessverre ofte lite praksis.

We are very fortunate to have the opportunity as 2007 international exchange students to study in Østfold University College, through the communicate learning and life one year, Let us know team energy and learned how to think independently, and experience the exotic culture. Learning is only part of life, more harvest from other part of learning. When the get together, which is perfect!

"The essence of life is constant progress" Therefore we have chosen to go abroad to study. The potential is unlimited; only to keep their own set targets to be able to continually transcend us, only in exceptional circumstances, can only be discovered. In fact, the biggest enemy is not others, but ourselves. When everyone conquers himself or herself, it would be conquer everything. Believe that, nothing is more important than this!

Like the enchanting scenery of Norway and also like sincere of Norwegian friends. During this year, make a lot of friends, and get many friends ’s help, very grateful to them! Also very grateful for the cooperation between the schools give us to this opportunity, thanks for Steinar kjuus, Hong Wu, Kai Brandstorp ,June Tolsby and our group members.

Aline Trinh (Frankrike)

My name is Aline Trinh, I come from France. In my own country, I study in Châteauroux University in the centre of France, where I got my French Entrepreneurship Bachelor last year. But I live in the north-east of Paris, actually I am not so far from Paris (100kms), my city, Troyes (69 000 habitants) is very famous due to the thousands of clothes manufacturing shop, as Chanel, kenzo, kookaï and Hugo Boss.

I am the first student from my own university, who come to study in Norway. And the most important thing is, I wanted to follow my entrepreneurship subject, and only Oestfold University College had the program I wanted; call "a complementary year in Entrepreneurship Bachelor". Thanks to my studies and my experience in Norway, I hope find a master program in France, or begin to work as an assistant project manager and in the far future a project manager

Kun Zhao (Kina)

You live only once, but if you live right, once is enough. The same truth applies to one's career decision because the career you choose is going to live with you throughout your life. The education you perceive was, is and will be your most loyal friend and which will help you achieve your career goals. Moreover, education is an investment that will reap rich dividend in the future and will never go a waste. So one has to make wise career decisions in life for which he may not have to repent in the future.

Today I have the chance to be an exchange student in Østfold University College. I have joined a professional Entrepreneurial team. The department covers the requirements of the Entrepreneurs. After working with these team for a couple of months and after having known the more of the requirements of these Entrepreneurial, I wish to see myself setting up a consultancy firm dealing with "my own" esteemed clients' information needs and setting up an information system for them.

Gonzalo Chamorro Delmo (Spania)

I am Gonzalo Chamorro an ERASMUS student from Spain. I study Telecommunications engineering in the University of Castilla-La Mancha. The last 5 months (Jan-Jun 2007) I studied in Østfold University College to attend his main project.

I made main project in here, the goal of the project is to design a solution for high quality synchronous video-streaming from Shell Eco Marathon events like the ones in Rudskogen (Norway) and in Nogaro (France).

It is to make a transmission from my computer by the network. First it is to connect a camera to the PC. The software of capture video is VLC. This program allows transmitting information of image and sounding by Internet. In order to obtain connection to Internet I must put to router (wireless modem) in the PC, within the car.

The supervisor for this project in technical issues is the assistant professor Gunnar Anderson and the associate professor Hong Wu answers to formal and administrative questions related to the project.

I want to told thanks you very much, to Gunnar Anderson, Hong Wu, Shell Eco Marathon group and university of Østfold University College for to do me a stay very pleasant.
