You'll find the entrance to the most common tasks in searhing for literature from this page. A short description of what you can use the different interfaces to will hopefully help you choose the correct one. Also consult our helpfiles in using the interfaces
Bibsys AskBibsys Ask is Bibsys' main interfece for searching our library's printed resources. Our complete collection of books, journals, series, newspapers and student's papers are accessible from here. It is also possible to search the collections of the other Norwegian university libraries, and the research documentation from the Norwegian University Colleges. Consult the howtos if you are uncertain on how to go about. Bibsys Ask will also let you log on to 'my page' and adminstrate your loans. |
Bibsys MimeIf you want to search our database services, Bibsys Mime is the right choice. The Mime-interface allows searching multiple databases at the same time, and it's main purpose is showing the electronic text directly in your browser. |
Bibsys TyrBibsys Tyr is Bibsys' interface for searching NHH's subscribed e-journals. Tyr will list all the journals, and a simple search is possible. For searching on articles you are better off with using Mime. Notice that all our journals are also accessible through Bibsys Ask. |
