About the library
The collections
Our collections are registered in
BIBSYS Ask, which is a shared library system for all Norwegian University Libraries, the National Library and a number of research libraries. Our library code in BIBSYS is NIH. Publications by our employees/projects concerning research within the field of sport are registered in
FORSKDOK.
The collections in the library cover the following subject areas in addition to sports and physical education: sociology, research methods, psychology, sports medicine, anatomy, physiology, administration and management. We also have an extensive collection containing jubilee books of Norwegian national and local sports federations.
