OPPORTUNITIES
Under the Research Infrastructures Action of the
European Community FP6 Specific Programme for Structuring the European Research
Area, access is provided for European researchers to the Ny-Ålesund Research
Infrastructure in Svalbard, Norway. The Ny-Ålesund RI programme is run as a consortium
of the following 8 members.
PROJECT PROPOSALS:
We have started a
new contract for European Arctic research exchange and mobility
Interested European scientists are invited to conduct arctic environmental research at the
Ny-Ålesund RI and are encouraged to submit project proposals within all fields of Arctic Environmental Research.
Interested scientists are asked to
refer to the list of research opportunities at the site as well as to establish
collaboration or links as far as possible with existing research.
NEXT CALL, SELECTION AND DEADLINES
New opportunities and proposal deadlines of the Ny-Ålesund RI are announced twice a
year, with the first deadline for proposals, set
to 15 January 2007. Below you will find links for the online
Application Form and template for the Project Proposal, some general information
about Ny-Ålesund and a procedure for selection of projects.
