Welcome to the course web-page (Credits 10 ecs) automn 2007

The course runs August through December 2007. First lecture and course introduction is Thursday August 23th at 13.50 to 15.30 in lecture room B220.

This webpage outlines practical course information, more detailed study material is located on the Fronter server. The students will obtain an user account for accessing the Fronter server at the beginning of the course.

Practical details:

• The course hours are Mondays 08.15 to 09.55 and Thursdays 13.50 to 15.30, both in lecture room B220.
• Laboratory work will take place on Wednesdays 09.10 to 11.45
• The course shifts between oral presentations and exercises with written student replies. After each exercise a handout of solutions is posted on the Fronter server.
• Classroom discussion of the homework assignments take place Wednesdays 8.15 to 09.00 in room C242
• The students must fulfill laboratory work during the course with written reports.
• A Web-based evaluation of the course is posted on the Fronter server.
