The student services organization for Romsdal and Nordmøre
The student services organization is established by law, in order to look after the welfare of students on the study site. This organization intends to attend the students in a way to let them carry out their studies in the most efficient and safe way, and at the same time exploit much from their time of study. The management of the student organization for Romsdal and Nordmøre (SFRN) is situated in the main building of the university at Kvam, Molde.

GENERAL OFFICE
Our general office is situated centrally in the university building at Kvam with the same entrance as our bookshop “Odin Bok og Papir”. Students presenting themselves there shall always get help directly, or be advised to the appropriate authority. Requirements concerning loan, scholarships, term charges, housing, kindergarten etc can be made here.

STUDENT CONSULTANCE
This is a free offer to students who wants to discuss situations that can be challenging and maybe difficult for a student beyond the professional view. Examples of students matters:
. Mastering of student life, motivation for your study, structuring of your days.
· Distribution of time for studies, family,children, spare time, eventual job.
. Loneliness, difficult to fit in,evaluating to quit your study
. Conflicts concerning family, friends, colleague students

STUDENT HOUSING
The student organization has disposal of student housing at the following addresses:

Allotment of housing follows on request on special form and subdued special allotment rules. Request forms are available on our web sites or in our general office.
All student housing are furnished and equipped with laundry including washing and drying machines based on card automat.
All our student housing are equipped with complete IKT solutions, that is, telephone, computer and cable television in all rooms. Connection solution, fibre cable, is established from the student housing to the student net site at the university in Molde. The student rooms are in reality home offices.
ODIN BOK OG PAPIR (bookshop)
Odin bookshop is a special shop for students and intends to supply all kind of specialist literature on university and local trade level. Our bookshop also supplies all necessary books prescribed for study as well as paper and other equipment. The bookshop is situated beside the general office of our organization in the university building at Kvam.

ANESTUA STUDENT KINDERGARTEN
The student organization also runs a kindergarten situated in a nice wooden area close to the university at Kvam. The kindergarten is divided in 3 departments and can take up to 45 children from the age of 0 to 6 years old. The kindergarten is open all year around except Christmas season, Easter season and three holiday weeks in July. Closing dates for applications are 1 May and 1 August each year. Application forms are available at our web site or in our general office.
OUR CAFÉS
The student organization runs three different cafés. Our main canteen HUGIN is situated centrally in the main building at Kvam, whereas MUNIN, our latest establishment, is situated centrally in the B building, that is, the new building at the university. Our LUNCH CAFÉ is situated in the university site in Kristiansund.
Hugin
Here we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Kiosk and self-service coffee bar are included in the canteen area. We hope you can feel relaxed in our premises as well as on our exterior terrace to enjoy the view or an ice-cream.
Munin
This café situated in the new building is a free area where you can relax with a newspaper or a self-mixed salad. This café is intended to be a supplement to the main canteen, especially during lunch-hour. Hot drink, cold drink and food automats are also included.
The lunch café in Kristiansund
On the top storey of the university of Kristiansund is our lunch café situated. As the name tells, this is meant to supply necessary meals during lunch-hour, but the same automats as at MUNIN are also included to serve after closing time.
Our staff hopes that our cafés are pleasant and offer varied and reasonable food. In order to maintain low prices we have a self-clearing system in our canteens.
THE STUDENT HOUSE
The students of Molde University College have a house for their own disposal downtown in Molde.here you can relax, watch, TV, read newspapers, study, talk with others or play a board game or with cards, billiards or darts. You can listen to music or maybe make some food or bay a lemonade or a cup of coffee. This is the place for seeing your friends and learning to know new friends among the others students.
