SCHOOL WITH A SMOKESTACK | Built in the early 60s, Primary School No.1 in Zgierz burns 250 tonnes of coal a year to heat the school buildings. Now a team of Polish and Norwegian architects plans to redevelop the school, using sustainable technology.
