The Student
Parliament's Committee on International Affairs
The Committee on International
Affairs consists of eight members and a chair, all
elected by the Student Parliament on an annual basis.
In addition the International Officer of the Executive Committee
of the Student Parliament
and a representative from the International Students' Union are
both permanent observers
in the committee. The main task of the committee is to be a preparatory
body for the
Student Parliament in international
affairs.
The committee is also involved in a number of international cooperation
projects on behalf
of the Student Parliament.Student mobility - both international
students coming to the
University of Oslo and Norwegian students travelling abroad - and
international cooperation
and student solidarity are all among issues for which the committee
is responsible.
