Give basic knowledge in business economic theory and methods as well as a survey of the various functions of the business enterprise.

• Costs, classification of costs and the theory of demand
• The theory of market adaptations
• Product calculations and cost accounting
• Cost-volume-profit analysis

Lectures, group - and individual exercises. The learning management system Classfronter will be used to some extent in the exchange of information.

2 compulsory papers to be passed before sitting for the final exam. The cases and the case-solutions must be brought to the final exam.

The 2 compulsory papers count for 20% of the total grade.The cases and the case-solutions must be brought to a 2-hour final written exam and shall be handed in together with the examination papers. The final exam counts for 80% of the total grade. At the final exam the problems raised in the compulsory papers will also be tested.
