After succesfull completion of the course students will:

• be acquainted with the different administrative and political levels of public management in Norwayknow how the municipality functions as an administrative unit in societyknow the procedures and the decision making process on community levelhave obtained the skill to contribute in a planning process

Lectures and group discussions as a basis for individual and group projects, papers and practical exercises. Project visits, evaluation of political meetings etc. A project related to physical planning.

Approved compulsory papers/exercises.
Delivered projects (individual or in group).

The projects counts for 50 % and an individual oral examen counts for 50% of the total grade. Both have to be passed.
