Completed first and second year courses.
On completion of their thesis it is expected that students have gained knowledge about, and experience in analysing, designing and putting into practice solutions of a given task.
The Computer Science / Computer Engineering thesis may be practical or theoretical, preferably a project for an external company or institution.
Each phase in the thesis must be well documented and the project as a whole should include elements which are not covered in the courses at the college.
Independent work in groups – max three students - under supervision.
The thesis is graded, not only on the basis of the final product, but also in terms of the level of difficulty chosen, project presentation and circumstances that may have affected project work. Although the thesis is a group product, different grades may be given to the different group members if there are clear differences in the individual contributions made. An oral examination is also possible.
Grades from 1.0 to 6.0, with decimals. 1.0 is best.
