MB301602 Main project/thesis

Minimum college entrance requirements. Completed 60 ECTS in chemistry and biology subjects. On completion of their thesis it is expected that students have gained:
Objectives: Knowledge about, and experience with analysing, designing and putting into practice solutions of a given task.

The study may be practical and/or theoretical. The project may be carried out internally or for an external company or institution. Each phase in the thesis must be well documented and the project as a whole should include elements which are not covered in the course at the college.

The topic of the thesis is a choice between the subject of Aqaculture, Fishery, Biotechnology or Food technology.

Independent work or work in groups under supervision

The thesis is graded, not only on the basis of the final product, but also in terms of the level of difficulty chosen, project presentation andcircumstances that may have affected the project work. Although the thesis is a group product, different grades may be given to the different group members if there are clear differences in the individual contributions made.
