The study is the the first year of a bachelor degree in history and make 60 ECTS in a university- or university college degree.
Completion of general upper-secondary education or prior learning and work experience.
A one-year study in social studies composed of 4 courses: elder and modern history, globalization/state/society and social data analysis. The course will give a basic understanding of the field of social studies, its analytical methods and Norwegian and World history.
Teaching methods range from lectures in large auditoriums and teaching in classes, to group and individual tutoring and essay writing which counts as a part of an exam. The teaching language is Norwegian.
