About RESF

Why RESF?
At NAFKAM we have given priority to the establishment of this registry. We find it important for patients and their relatives, health personnel and health authorities that there is an agency collecting patients' knowledge about and experience with disease courses that do not develop according to the textbook of conventional medicine.

The registry constitutes a foundation that can contribute to explaining which factors influence exceptional disease courses. This may make it easier for patients and treatment providers to choose knowledge-based treatments.

Here you can read more about the registry, download brochures or reports and see which research projects that are connected to the register.

What happens when you send your story to NAFKAM?
Here you can read about the procedures for registration and evaluation of exceptional disease courses.

RESF and research
Several research projects connected to the registry have been initiated. Here you can read more about them.

Cooperation with Scandinavian patient organizations

In connection with RESF NAFKAM cooperates with Scandinavian patient organizations which among other things assist in sharing information about the register. The Danish Multiple Sclerosis Society has their own project where they collect and evaluate MS patients' exceptional courses of disease after using alternative treatment, and NAFKAM receives these case histories to RESF.
