Steinalders steinråstoffbruk i Finnmark

Between 1983 and 1989 I undertook Ph.D. research concerning the sources and distribution patterns of lithic raw materials in Finnmark. Some of this has been published (Hood 1991, 1992a, 1994, 1999) or is described in my dissertation (Hood 1992b). These Web pages are dedicated to making this information more accessible and useful to other researchers. Some of the information has been updated and there is additional material that has not been presented previously. The pages will be updated sporadically as needed.
