\par  -Salaries and benefits of the exchange faculty members remain the responisbility of

\par -The host institution shall make efforts to provide information and assistance in
\par   matters of campus facilities, housing options, visa requirements, et cetera;

\par \tab -During the first year of exchange a maximum of \'85\'85\'85.full-time equivalent students
\par \tab  from the Partner Institution and  \'85\'85\'85\'85 full-time equivalent students from the 
\par \tab  University of Troms\'f8 may participate in the Exchange;
\par 
\par \tab -Exchange students shall register at the host university for a maximum of one 
\par \tab  academic year. Sending two students for one semester shall be considered equivalent
\par \tab  to sending one student for a full academic year;
\par 
\par \tab -The exchange shall be open to graduate students and also undergraduate students who
\par \tab  have completed at least one year of full time academic studies, unless otherwise 
\par \tab  agreed to by the host institution;
\par

-The host institution shall faciltitate field work by assisting students in gaining access to information, the need for tutoring, etcetera;
\par }\pard \ql \li0\ri0\widctlpar\aspalpha\aspnum\faauto\adjustright\rin0\lin0\itap0 {\lang1033\langfe1044\langnp1033 
\par \tab -Exchange candidates shall be nominated by the home university and approved by the 
\par \tab  host university pursuant to normal procedures. The host university reserves the right 
\par \tab  to reject an applicant and if so, an additional nominee may be nominated;
\par 
\par \tab -Any fees (application fees, tuition fees, etcetera), shall be paid at the home institution;
\par \tab -Students shall be expected to pay for all personal expenses, including but not limited
\par \tab  to transportation, accommodation, meals, books, health insurance and entertainment;
\par 
\par \tab -The proposed programme of studies at the host university must be approved by the
\par \tab  home university prior to the exchange;
\par 
\par \tab -Credit for course work completed by students may be recognised as contributing to
\par \tab  the degree requirements at the home university, but this shall be at the discretion of
\par    \tab  the home university;
\par 
\par }\pard \ql \li708\ri0\widctlpar\aspalpha\aspnum\faauto\adjustright\rin0\lin708\itap0 {\lang1033\langfe1044\langnp1033 -Students shall be expected to obtain adequate health insurance coverage to the 
\par  satisfaction of the host university;

\par -The host university shall not bear any financial responsibility for students except 
\par  as may be arranged and explicitly documented for specific cases;
\par 
\par -The host university shall assist students in locating suitable accommodation, shall
\par  offer a campus orientation, and shall provide advice regarding matters which may
\par  enhance the exchange ecperiences;
\par 
\par -Students shall be bound by the rules and regulations of the host university and the 
\par  laws of the host country during the exchange;
\par 
\par -Participation in this exchange shall not give a student any preference or special
\par  status to register fora degree programme at the host university, subsequent to 
\par  completion of an academic  study period under this exchange;
\par 
\par -At the end of the academic stay or upon request, the host university shall send to the home university an official transcript of the academic achievement fo each student;
