The University Library
The University Library is the centre for the distribution of information and documents at the university. The university library shall assist students and researchers to find documents in both printed and digital form.
Through exhibitions and its publication, Ravnetrykk, the university library presents different aspects of research at the university and at other institutions, both from within Norway and overseas. In addition to collections directly linked to fields being taught and researched at the university, the university library is building up a special collection relevant to the northern regions.
The university library consists of three libraries and three departmental libraries. To provide its users the best service possible, the library’s operation is situated in various locations linked to the different specialist fields.
The university library for humanities, social sciences and law is situated in the main library building. There are collections on language, literature, art, social studies and jurisprudence. The departmental library for psychology is located in Åsgårdveien.
