Abstract

In this thesis we outline, design and implement a prototype for task migration. Task migration enables people to bring their computational tasks to the computer they are located at, despite of different computer architecture, platform and installed applications.

Our system describes tasks as abstract entities, independent of specific platforms or applications. Task migration enables us to focus on our tasks rather than all the computers and applications we meet during our day.
