Employment procedures for scientific positions

The employment procedure in the different scientific positions has to follow formal regulation defined by law and the University Board.
Detailed procedure descriptions, including time estimates for each procedure step, are given below for each position types. For illustrative purposes all time schedules start at 1. January 2008. In a real case, with start at arbitrary dates, the progress is influenced by holidays, summer vacations, meeting times for different boards involved etc. All these factors have impact on the total time used for the employment process, i.e applicants must expect deviations from the given time schedule estimates. However, Progress information of all scientific positions announced is available.
