The MOST CCPP network is continuing its work within the new project 'Globalisation from Below? Localised Transformations in a Circumpolar Perspective'. Involved researchers are recruited from the MOST CCPP network, together with researchers from several departments at the Faculty of Social Science, University of Tromsø.

The project, running from 2004 to 2007, is funded by the Norwegian Research Council. Actors involved constitute an open network of researchers, allowing for new participants to involve during the project period. Four subprojects are so far defined: 'Encounters', 'Socio-economic networks', 'Citizenship and local democracy', and 'Place enactment'. The project is also a priroity research project for the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Tromsø.
