“The fellowship, which is co-sponsored by the Osher Foundation, seeks to train leaders in clinical and academic medicine in the rapidly growing field of Integrative Medicine. Nearly 25% of US medical schools (and their deans) have already made a commitment to support this burgeoning field, through their involvement in the Consortium of Academic Health Centers for Integrative Medicine. The Program in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona is the recognized leader in the field, having trained over 100 physicians in an academically-based approach that incorporates clinical, research, and leadership experiences.
We are seeking established and upcoming academic medical leaders who are ready to broaden their approach to patient care and research, and to bring these experiences back to your institution. This fellowship program provides you with the opportunity to develop your faculty in the field of Integrative Medicine, from the university-based program that established the nation’s first comprehensive curriculum in Integrative medicine.
Please forward the (...) announcement to any faculty members whom you feel would be suitable candidates for the fellowship”.
