Medical students travelling to Haiti

Three medical students from UiTø, Miriam Andreassen, Eirin Haugli Falch and Anette Vibeke Nilsen, are travelling to Port-au-Prince in Haiti for their 2.year elective period. Their focus wil be on HIV/Aids while spending their time at the University Hospital de la Paix and the GHESKIO HIV/Aids Clinic.

Anette, Miriam and Eirin are exited about their visit to Haiti

Miriam, Anette and Eirin are also going to teach First Aid at a Primary School 'Petit Troll' both to the school staff and the older students. In collaboration with TVIBIT they are bringing a video camera to be able to document their experiences in Haiti.
SIH has helped the students to organize the trip and the activities they will take part in, including the contacts with the hospital and the Gheskio Clinic.
