Dette er et påbygningseemne i internasjonal politikk. Studentene skal videreutvikle sin teoretiske innblikk med et empirisk fokus på miljøspørsmål og nordområdet.

Over er den formelle informasjon om emnet STV-2005, i tillegg har alle emnene hos oss egne sider hvor du kan finne utfyllende informasjon om undervisning, seminarundervisning, pensum, artikler, lenker og annet. En oversikt over disse sidene finnes under punktet undervisning.

Information about the required reading

The following two books are required reading for the Spring 2006 International Politcal Economy course (stv 2005), and can be purchased at the university bookstore, Akademisk Kvarter:

Oatley, Thomas: International Political Economy. Interests and institutions in the global economy. New York: Pearson-Longman 2006.

O'Brien, Robert and Marc Williams: Global Political Economy. Evolution and Dynamics. New York: Palgrave. 2004.

Virtually all of the readings will come from these two books. One extra reading will come from the guest lecture on regionalization. In the event the instructor decides to include one or two articles more (either as required or strongly recommended), these will be delivered to the students in class. This would not amount to more than one or two extra articles.

STV-2005: International Political Economy	Use the links on the right hand menue to obtain more information about International Political Economy. All lectures for the course have been posted. There will be ONE MORE LECTURE for the course, on 29. March 2006 (14:15-16, room C1007). The final assignment for the course is officially posted here (13.March 2006 - see link on the right hand column), sent out be email (to those students who registered on the email list), and is also available at the ekspedisjon (main office of Social Science Faculty).

Final Assignment	Final assignment 13. March This assignment has been posted on 13. March 2006. The assignment is due on 18. April 2006, to be handed in at the Ekspedisjon (sv-faculty). PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW THE ASSIGNMENT QUESTION CAREFULLY. There will be one last lecture for the course, on 29.
