The course shall give a basic knowledge of short and medium run macroeconomics. It shall also provide knowledge of the Norwegian macroeconomic policy problems. | Contents
Basic Macroeconomics of an open economy. National accounts and how to use it. Basic macroeconomic models. The ISLM-model, the AD/AS model and economic policy. The markets for goods, labour and financial markets. Economic policy in the short and medium run. The Norwegian macroeconomic policy and how it works. | Form of teaching
