FYS-2008: Measurement techniques Work Load
10 credits (ECTS) | Contents
The course is based on previous knowledge of mathematics and physics corresponding to the subjects MAT-1001 Calculus 1 and FYS-2005 Electronics II. The course is an extension of FYS-2004 Electronics I and FYS-2005 Electronics II. In this course, electronics aimed at general instrumental and measuring problems will be emphasized. The student will be given basic knowledge about general principles of measurement, sensors, transmission and data processing. The subject includes the general structure of measuring systems, besides various basic elements and areas of application. Further, included is the theory for analysing the properties of static and dynamic systems, in addition to statistical methods of analysis. Exercises will be emphasized. It is required that some laboratory exercises have been carried out and approved before exam. | Form of teaching
