STV-3009: Politics and Society in Post-Communist Russia Work Load

STV-3009 is an elective course for students studying in the Master''s program in political science, but can also be of interest as an elective for students in other Master''s programs at the university. | Contents
This course provides a broad introduction into Russian social conditions and politics, as well as offers scholarly approaches to the study of this area:
- political institutions
- economic reforms
- elites and social structure
- core-periphery relations | Form of teaching
The course has multiple teaching approaches | Assessment
One 6 hours written university-based exam.
Grading A-E, F=fail. The course is open for re-sit examination early in the following semester. | Examination semester
