PFF-1001: Examen paedagogicum Work Load
10 credits (ECTS) | Objectives
To offer students an introduction in becoming a teacher: reflecting on the student''s own expectations of the course - becoming familiar with the education field''s role and function in teacher training - acquiring knowledge of different teacher and pupil roles - becoming familiar with expressions such as development, ethics and suitability - reflecting on the school of the future.

This course of study is organized around the following main themes: personal expectations of the programme of study - education''s role and function in teacher training - teacher and pupil/student roles - what is instruction and what is teaching? - development, ethics and suitability - visions of the future in schools and the profession.

Take-home assignment that will consist of three texts, in total approx. 15 pages in length, written in connection with the main themes of this study plan. One of the texts must be based on teaching practice experience.
