GEO-2007: Historical and regional geology Work Load

The following topics are treated in brief: The earth''s paleogeographical evolution in the Precambrian and Phanerozoic; creation of life and evolution; common groups of fossils; the onshore bedrock geology of Norway and Svalbard; the continental shelf offshore Norway, including seismic data analysis; and the geomorphology of Norway.

A 4 h written exam will be arranged at the end of the semester. Admittance to examination requires approved course work. Letter grade (A-F).
